Directions

By car:

Access from the north:

Motorway A8 Munich - Salzburg. From Salzburg approx. 60 km on the A10 to the Ennstal junction (exit towards Graz/Altenmarkt/Radstadt), leave here. Continue to Radstadt, pass the West exit, at the Radstadt-Ost junction continue in the direction of Villach-Obertauern.

Access from the south:

Villach - A10 Tauern motorway - St. Michael toll station exit - Mauterndorf - Obertauern.

Access from Styria:

Judenburg - Murtal Bundesstraße - Murau - Tamsweg - Mauterndorf - Obertauern.

 - Toll station St. Michael - Obertauern: 29 km; Mauterndorf - Obertauern: 22 km.

Access from Obertauern:
Coming from Radstadt, you reach the first connecting lift, "Kehrkopf lift", after approx. 20 km.

After 100 m you will reach the first ski bridge, bridge 1, with the inscription: "Welcome to Obertauern". After 30 m turn right and follow the sign "Tauernhof". After approx. 400 m you reach the neighboring hotel "Tauernhof", pass in front of the building on the right, after approx. 150 m you will reach chalet "Sennhütte" and chalet "Neuhofalm"

Train connection:

Radstadt railway station (distance approx. 22 km). Continue to Obertauern with ÖBB public buses to the Kehrkreuz stop. You will see the first ski bridge with the inscription "Welcome to Obertauern" and from here continue on foot and follow the road as described above for car drivers. The path to the Neuhofalm measures about 700m. You can of course organise a taxi for the rest of the way.
